Chateau Negly produces uniquely expressive wines in the distinct sub-region of La Clape, a land mass that was once an island. The estate dates back to Roman times, has distinct soils yielding high quality fruit and offers premium wines at a great value.

“La Falaise”, the estate’s predominantly Syrah cuveé is hand-harvested from old vines planted just off the Mediterranean in rocky soil, fermented in a cone-shaped oak tank and aged in 300L barrels before being blended with old vine Mourvedre and Grenache. This makes for a Mediterranean red with deliciously complex leathery plum notes that have serious lift from mineral-tinged acidity and a peppered finish. It’s a coastal influenced, yet brawny expression of the estate and region aptly named “the cliff” in French.
