Moli Dels Capellans Atrepat 2014, $15
Just in time for “Chill Yo Reds” Season, which happens to be my favorite, we find a beautiful Trepat to put on the $15 and under shelf. Trepat is indigenous to Northeast Spain, known for being light to medium-bodied with notes of strawberry, raspberry, and rose petal. The tannins are fine and the finish has hints of black pepper. If you are a fan of Gamay then you will probably dig Trepat. Serve with picnic fare, pizza, chocolate, or you can even enjoy it without food.
