One of the four oldest houses in Champagne (tied with Veuve Cliquot after Ruinart & Gosset) Jacquesson is something special. These guys taught Henri Krug how to make great champagne before he married a Jacquesson daughter and absconded to start his own Champagne house. The house style is very similar; superb still wines made in barrel then finished into champagne to give a rich mouthfilling experience of citrus, brioche and toast. Stunning.
