Equal parts stout beer and sparkling wine

A seemingly unusual combination but as they say, don’t knock it until you try it! The bright acidity of this 100% Chardonnay sparkler from the Maconnais pairs excellently with the richer burnt sugar notes of a stout beer like Guinness creating an absolutely quaffable bubbly drink which shouts out to be paired with barbecue pulled pork. Or caramel coated popcorn. Or creme brulee. No fancy bar tools needed, this is truly the everyman’s cocktail!
