As you may have heard by now, we’re finally supposed to get a real snowstorm. The National Weather Service has predicted a 100% chance of heavy snow and “large snowfall totals” for New York City Thursday. They say that this could be the worst disaster since Charlie Sheen’s Torpedo of Truth tour.
Local authorities and FEMA advise stocking up on bottled water, flashlights and fresh batteries. What they don’t tell you is that you should probably stock up on wine and liquor too because when you have no power and everything is closed, there is a 100% chance that you’ll be bored out of your mind.
So, you’re definitely going to need some wine and you’ll likely need some scotch to mix with all that bottled water, too.
We will make every effort to be open for business on Thursday and beyond, but not if it means putting our employees’ safety at risk. So, please plan ahead and stock up tonight. Thank you and be safe.
