Adam’s Pick: Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosato 2015, $22
Year in and year out, this rosé from Sicily proves to be one of my favorites. Pale orangey-pink in hue, this rosé is not the delicate stuff of Provençe, but a lip-smacking, mouth-watering wine with flavors of blood orange, raspberry, tarragon and stone. Made from 100% Nerello Mascalese, it is a delicious wine made from grapes grown on the slopes of Mount Etna, and due to its slightly under-the-radar status, it’s still a relative value. I’d certainly pay more for this, but at $22, it’s a bargain.
