When I go for Beaujolais Nouveau, I don’t want it to taste like the banana Laffy Taffy of the mass-produced varieties, but I want it to be true to the style of Nouveau, which is to say, bright, zesty and a little candied, but on a dry, juicy frame. The Durdilly hits the spot. When I tell you it smells a little bit like bubble gum, I want you to know that I consider this a good thing, because bubble gum smells great. Be careful because it’s chuggable.
